Professionalism One of the most important aspects of Delta Sigma Pi is professionalism. Each collegiate chapter organizes many professional events throughout the year. Nu Rho Chapter's professional events bring speakers from all over to the UC Davis campus. Most events are open to the public. Past events have included etiquette dinner, dress for success, time management workshops, and interview workshops. Nu Rho Chapter recently won a national award for its professional events. Finance Delta Sigma Pi is run like any other business. For our organization to stay afloat, we need to make money. We make money through various fundraisers to support our activities. Finance lowers dues and enables us to hold more professional and community service events throughout the school year. Community Service A major goal of every collegiate chapter of Delta Sigma Pi is to give back to the community. Nu Rho Chapter has put on a benefit concert for victims of domestic violence, worked with the elderly, and helped organize activities for local area children. Social ...And of course what organization would be worth joining if you couldn't have fun? Brothers work hard... and we play hard too. Beyond normal social activities, we also organize inter-chapter events that involve other chapters of Delta Sigma Pi and some other organizations on campus. Academics It is very important that brothers of Delta Sigma Pi maintain a good work ethic and study habits. The national fraternity has scholarships available to brothers, as well as the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key, awarded to the highest ranking student of commerce at each school --regardless of whether or not he is a member of Delta Sigma Pi.
