Dear Brothers & Fellow Students, Mark Twain once said that school should never get in the way of education. As students, we should always be looking beyond the walls of the classroom and extending the boundaries of our campus to find those opportunities that can enhance our education. Since 1994, the Nu Rho chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at the University of California Davis has taken pride in providing motivated students with a place where brotherhood, professionalism, leadership and service to the community have met. Similar to a science lab for business, Nu Rho gives members the chance to experiment with marketing tactics, leadership styles, event planning, and perhaps most importantly, the chance to learn the principles of business from the real world. As the only chapter of Delta Sigma Pi without a business major offered by its host university, every member of Nu Rho works diligently to make sure that the playing field is level. Members of Nu Rho share a combined vision to not only strive towards academic excellence and professional development but also to leave our community better than we found it. Our collective passion towards a business education second to none has garnered Nu Rho the recognition as the best chapter in the region for the past 8 years, and the bar continues to be raised. It is not by chance that Delta Sigma Pi has become one of the most prestigious and successful student organizations in the world. Membership in Delta Sigma Pi is a lifelong commitment that requires diligence and hard work but after being a part of Delta Sigma Pi for two years, I have come to realize that the rewards within this organization are infinite and so my commitment and passion for this organization remains steadfast. It is my utmost honor to serve as president of Nu Rho for the Winter & Spring term, and it is my promise to try and provide the same amazing opportunities and rich experiences that I have had to you.
