Dear Brothers and Fellow Students,

The University of California Davis has evolved and grown exponentially since its founding in 1905 as the University Farm for the University of California Berkeley. Throughout the past 105 years, some of the best and brightest students have enrolled and graduated through this prestigious university and have established their legacies on the campus. In 1994, a group of motivated men and women left their mark by founding the Nu Rho chapter of Delta Sigma Pi. The fraternity became a place where brotherhood, service, and professionalism were not merely wishful dreams but reality. Each pillar stood as an integral piece to establishing the foundation for the next 14 years of success.

However, this success did not happen over night or even over one year. It is by the dedication of over 400 brothers throughout the past 15 years that has shaped Nu Rho to the prestigious chapter it is today. Through the collective efforts of over 200 chapters over more than 100 years, Delta Sigma Pi has established itself to be one of the leading student organizations in the world.

As acclaimed basketball coach John Wooden once said, “It is not so important who starts the game but who finishes it.” Each brother of the Nu Rho chapter of Delta Sigma Pi has set their sights on a common vision of excellence and brotherhood. Through harvesting a community geared toward pursuing academic excellence and professional development, Nu Rho engrains this principle of “finishing the game” into each brother.

Throughout the past year, Delta Sigma Pi has given me a venue to challenge myself and push my potential to the limit. Nu Rho has helped me discover my strengths and solidify them while also pointing out my weaknesses and working toward bettering myself. I have the utmost honor and privilege to serve as the Nu Rho Chapter's Fall 2009 President. I will try to do everything in my power to try to provide an environment that allows you to experience many of the rewarding memories I have had in my fraternal career as well as learn as much as you can from this Fraternity.

I want to extend an invitation to you – to take a step towards brotherhood, a step toward professionalism, and a step toward success.

Sincerely,

Alexandra Lee
President
Nu Rho Chapter – Delta Sigma Pi
