Who do we look for? Delta Sigma Pi has worked hard to attain the respect it currently enjoys in the corporate world as well as here at UC Davis. Therefore, we look for people who will help us maintain this image, as well as further the progress of the fraternity. As with any activity, what you get out of it is what you put into it, and Delta Sigma Pi has a lot to offer. Deltasig attracts people who are motivated, creative, and just plain fun. Who can join Delta Sigma Pi? Any student who is actively pursuing a degree in Managerial Economics, Economics, International Relations, Animal Science & Management, Textile & Clothing (Marketing Emphasis) or Sociology-Organizational Studies is eligible to become a candidate for initiation into the Fraternity. Students must be in good academic standing with the college or university. Deltasig is also a coed fraternity, so members of both genders are eligible. What is expected of its members? The days of swallowing goldfish to get into a fraternity are long gone (at least for most fraternities). Deltasig, especially the chapter here at UC Davis, has spent years building a reputation for being an organization that has the best and brightest that our business program has to offer. We have steadily built onto the foundation of the fraternity from its beginning, and today we are proud to have one of the best organizations in the country. Therefore, we look for people who are willing to maintain this high level of quality, people who will take enough pride in the fraternity so that it continues to grow and prosper. What is expected of a member? Whatever it takes to keep Deltasig the incredible organization it is today. Non-discrimination policy The policy of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, Inc., is that discrimination against or harassment of any individual for reasons of race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orietation, martial status, national origin, age, handicap, or veteran status is specifically prohibited. Accordingly, equal access to employment opportunities, membership, educational programs, and financial assistance and all other fraternal activities is extended to all persons. |
